Location is ideal. Friendly and helpful stuff. Honestly, after read all ratings I was a little worried but I don’t really understand the negative comments. Yes, room is quite little, clearly not a 5 star hotel but what do you expect for such price right next to the Empire State Building? For those who want just a roof to sleep under and walking all day - perfect. For those who are looking for a budget variant but in the very center of NY - also. We were in a situation of hurry, (previous hotel financed by company ended) with a low budget and we’re very happy to found this opportunity. I add that when needed to prolong our stay for a little bit, stuff was really nice and helpful. Maybe just try to treat them with respect instead of demanding like you’d be in the Ritz? :) Thank you guys for your welcome, this hotel remains in our remembers for our first time in NYC.

The location is 5 star!! The room and private bathroom were clean, sheets were clean and beds comfortable!! We stayed in room with bunk bed and one extra queen bed. Beds were big enough for two people to sleep in. Little kitchen available and room was very big!!

I have read many bad reviews. But I must say that I did not find anything from what I read in reality. My room was clean. The shared bathrooms were good and always cleaned! During 4 days I did not find any curiosities! There is dish in the room, a hair dryer, towels and a minimal set for a shower. The mattress is quite comfortable. My recommendation is only regarding the duvet - it would be better. Yes, this is not a 5 star hotel. But for this money a reasonable solution if you are looking for an overnight stay. A big advantage is the ability to cook in the room. Receptionists were great too! Every day the staff was friendly and happy to help. No rats, cockroaches or bedbugs. The security deposit has not yet been returned. But they have a return period of up to 35 days (on card). We'll see, but I'm sure everything will be fine. My room was on the 5th floor. As I’ve understood in general conditions depend on company (owner) you book the hotel. There are 5 different owners in this building.

The lobby manager was really kind and we were able to do a check in ahead of time and just come back to collect the keys when the stay started. In general the staff was super nice and helpful, we would certainly return to this hotel.
